“I did not accept any absolute formulas for living. No preconceived code can see ahead to everything that can happen in a person’s life. As we live, we grow, and our beliefs change. They must change. So I think we should live with this constant discovery. We should stake our whole existence on our willingness to explore and experience.” – Martin Buber

Hi, I’m Angie!

I am a Professional Athlete, drafted into the WNBA, played 8 seasons overseas, and started as a freshman on legendary coach Pat Summitt’s last national championship team. I have my Bachelors in Psychology, Maters in Sport Psychology, and am a Certified Somatic and Body-Oriented Life Coach. I love to mix Somatic Psychology practices, Sport Psychology, and Life Coaching skills and tools to create a unique, mind-body integrated approach to working through sport or life related challenges. I am passionate in learning more about the mental, emotional, and spiritual side of life, particularly in the field of sport performance. I spent most my career in shame and pain and now am in pursuit of self love, growth, and healing, while also providing a non judgmental and genuine space for others to pursue the same. You are LOVED and WELCOMED here!

What I Enjoy…

Connection – Deep convos, good questions, hearing people’s stories, different mindsets, perspectives, and theories on life. Or just laughing about anything and everything. Nothing fulfills me more than connecting with others.

Coaching – Whether it’s Sport Psychology, Somatics, Mentoring, or Coaching Basketball skills, I love teaching, encouraging, honoring, speaking life, and facilitating others in finding their own innate wisdom and intuition. I feel honored when I get to be apart of another’s journey and growth in sport or life.

Learning – I am a passionate learner who attempts to read multiple books, listen to multiple podcasts, and take multiple courses all at once because it’s all just WAY too exciting!

Healing – Anyone else obsessed with healing? If I could I would go on every retreat, test out every alternative or complimentary therapy and medicine, and try all the classes.

Nature and Adventure – More than the actual activities done while in nature, I love stopping to soak up every beautiful thing I see. I have a bucket list that never ends and love to travel. Especially when I get the chance to see different cultures, any human creations or natural wonders that stop me in my tracks and leave me in awe. Click here to follow my travels!

Spontaneous Dance – I find healing and freedom in busting out spontaneous and intuitive dance moves.

To believe you are free is one thing, to actually experience freedom is another.

Sports Psychology

My experiences as an elite athlete, identity paradigm shifts, positive affirmations, action steps that create change. Also include some things I’ve learned while studying Sport Psychology, topics like focus, stress relief, playing in freedom, expectation management confidence, motivation, etc.

Angie’s Brainwaves

There’s an entire wild world inside my head. It goes as deep as the ocean and pretty much everything as simple as a chair or a tree instantly turns into a metaphor for life. My attempt to put pen to paper to it all. Also where you will find my more personal life stories.

Somatic Life Coaching

We tend to be stuck in our heads, and forget about the wisdom our body holds. My experiences and information as I learn more and more through my Somatic Life Coaching Certification. When the answers come from within, a shift takes place, and confidence, intuition, growth, and healing can come with it.
